ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Welcome to your new office: the recording studio!
NM Audio School’s Advanced Audio Engineering Program is designed for graduates of our Audio Engineering and Music Production Program, enabling them to take a deeper dive into the technical side of the recording studio. Through one-on-one, hands-on lessons with us, students learn in-depth mixing, session and project management, editing, advanced recording practices, and mastering.
As an audio engineer, you’re responsible for shaping a listener’s experience through the work you do in recording sessions. This program expands upon the skills you already have to teach you how to finalize a commercial quality project.

NMAS gives you the practical experience of running recording sessions in a professional environment, empowering students to learn the knowledge they need to forge a career with their craft.
As part of Recording Connection’s Advanced Audio Program, you’ll receive private in-person lessons in our real recording studio.

Are you a musician that would like to learn to record, mix, and master your material, or maybe just need technical help operating specific equipment? We will help you structure your songs and teach you what you need to know in order to record, mix, and master your music.
ADVANCED AUDIO
The many audio skills you will learn with us include advanced microphone use and placement, operating with Midi, multiple instrument recording, vocal recording, editing tracks and samples, looping, mixing, plug-in functions, mastering, and much more.
LIVE SOUND / LIVE MUSIC
Learn live sound reinforcement techniques. Learn how to take your audio engineering on-the-go wherever you go with live bands and producers.
